Thyroglossal duct cysts are rare, benign, congenital neck masses that form from a persistent thyroglossal duct. They usually appear in young children, though occasionally an adult may present with one. Dr. Christopher Liu explains how a patient with a thyroglossal duct cyst presents to his practice and how he determines when which treatment is appropriate.
In-office ear tube placement is gaining popularity among parents due to its convenience. Skipping a pre-operative appointment, avoiding fasting and anesthesia, and having both the consultation and procedure done on the same day makes it an efficient option. But how can parents determine if this approach is right for them?
Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LPR) is a disease of the upper aerodigestive tract resulting from direct and/or indirect effects of gastric contents.
