About Dr. Osman Ahmed
Dr. Osmanuddin Syed Ahmed, MD FSIR, is an Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Chicago Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and then completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Chicago in 2014. He then completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Stanford Hospital & Clinics.
Dr. Ahmed’s specialties include radiology, transplant oncology, and vascular and interventional radiology. His interests and areas of expertise include histotripsy, interventional oncology, pulmonary embolism therapies, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE).
