About Scott Becker
Scott Becker is the founder, publisher and chief content officer of Beckers Healthcare, a leading healthcare media company. Scott is also a long time partner at McGuireWoods a top AmLaw firm with leading private equity and healthcare practices. He served for nearly 14 years as the chair of the healthcare department and also served on the Board of Directors. Mr Becker has interviewed Bill and Hilary Clinton, George and Laura Bush, Nikki Haley, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Venus Williams and several other public figures.
Scott is a graduate of Harvard Law School and the University of Illinois. At Harvard Law School he had the privilege to teach and advise future President Barack Obama as a moot court adviser. The President was much more gifted than Mr Becker. He hosts the highly ranked Beckers Healthcare Podcast and the highly ranked Becker Private Equity Podcast. He is also the author of several books, a regular speaker on business and healthcare trends, a proponent of physical and mental health as a foundation to lfe and an active investor in private equity and venture capital funds and companies. Mr Becker is a regular but not particularly accomplished golfer, tennis player and sports participant.
