About Dr. Rafael Coelho
Dr. Rafael Ferreira Coelho is a distinguished urologist. He received his medical degree from the University of São Paulo (USP), and has been studying the benefits of robotic surgery in the treatment of diseases of the male urogenital system, especially cancer.
Dr. Coelho is a member of the Brazilian Society of Urology and the Fellowship in Robotic Urology, and also a member of the clinical staff of Hospitals Sírio Libanês, Albert Einstein and Hospital Nove de Julho. He has also served as Director of Research at the Global Robotics Institute – Florida Hospital Celebration Health, Instructor of Urology at University of Central Florida School of Medicine, Medical Coordinator of the Urological Clinic Cancer Institute of the State of São Paulo ICESP/FMUSP, and Head of the prostate cancer group at the Brazilian Society of Urology.
