About Dr. Blake Parsons

Dr. Blake Parsons is originally from Ardmore, Oklahoma and attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth, TX. He completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK, where he served as Chief radiology resident. Interventional Radiology utilizes minimally-invasive, image-guided procedures minimizing risk, pain and recovery time in comparison to open surgery. He is dedicated to bringing new procedures to his patients to eliminate the need for invasive surgical procedures. He has introduced innovative procedures like Sphenocath migraine solution, fibroid embolization and more. This field is cutting edge, utilizing techniques that are technologically advanced and not yet used in many other specialties. The field of medicine is constantly evolving and the future of IR holds new, exciting opportunities and possibilities.

In his practice, there is a strong emphasis on patient education, offering clear explanations of the treatment plan, expected outcome, what patients should expect to experience, and alternate treatments.
