Dr. Pittman is dual board-certified, and American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine certified, minimally-invasive surgeon growing strategy-eating culture delivering award-winning, world-renowned medical & cosmetic vein care, superior patient experience & satisfaction guarantee. Dr. Pittman is also the Executive Producer of the Vein911 reality TV show. He is the Managing Director for Health Performance Specialists, which is the largest independent vein care practice network in the USA. He is also an administrator for the Foam Sclerotherapy Experts LinkedIn Group. Dr. Pittman is the President of the TransAmerican Sclerotherapy Institute, Inc., a 501(c)(3) promoting sclerotherapy education & patient benefits. He is a Board Manager for TBIH, a clinically integrated network partnered with Florida Blue, Aetna, Cigna, & Oscar. He is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Pittman has also been an Advisory Board Member for Tactile Medical (TCMD:NASDAQ), Axiom Rehabilitation, Automated Clinical Guidelines, and Apaly Health.
Dr. Pittman also has 30 years of medical-political leadership, such as a Board of Directors & Fellow for the American Vein and Lymphatic Society (AVLS) (the largest US medical organization devoted to venous disorders), a Chair of the AVLS Healthcare Advocacy Committee, an AVLS Delegate for the American Medical Association, a past Executive Committee Member for the AVLS Foundation, a member of the Florida Medicare Contractor Advisory Committee, a past President of the Florida Medical Association Political Action Committee (FMA PAC), a member and Past Vice Chair of the FMA Council on Medical Economics & Practice Innovation, a past Chair for FMA Advisory Committee on Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), and a past President for the Hillsborough County Medical Association.
Dr. Pittman has also been a consultant/thought Leader in Medical Informatics, Telemedicine, HIT, & Health Care Policy.
