About Dr. David Field
David Field, MD, is an Associate Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and is board certified in both interventional and diagnostic radiology.
A native Washingtonian and a graduate of St. Albans School in Northwest, Dr. Field completed an M.S. in Physiology & Biophysics at Georgetown and attended medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago. After residency in Philadelphia, where he served as Chief Resident, he returned to Washington for his fellowship at Georgetown and has been on the faculty there since 2014.
Dr. Field has particular interests in prostate artery embolization, renal tumor cryoablation, and the percutaneous treatment of urinary tract obstruction.
