About Dr. Kuldeep Singh
Dr. Kuldeep Singh, MD, is Director of Vascular Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital. He is board certified in general and vascular surgery, with an additional one year training in open heart surgery. After completion of a general surgery residency at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Singh received the nationally renowned Arnold P. Gold Foundation Award for teaching and humanism.
Clinically, Dr. Singh’s practice focuses on advanced minimally invasive techniques to treat patients with aortic and carotid disease. He also specializes in treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and non-healing wounds due to lack of blood flow known as critical limb ischemia. He developed the Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention Symposium (LEAPS) conference, which is held annually at Staten Island University Hospital.
Dr. Singh works closely with the podiatry and plastic surgeons to offer the most advanced treatment to patients suffering from non-healing wounds. He is currently involved in several clinical national trials.
