About Dr. Rami Tadros

Dr. Rami Tadros is a board-certified vascular surgeon with expertise in managing aortic disease, including thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and aortic dissections. He serves as Site Director of Endovascular Aortic Surgery for The Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition, Dr. Tadros specializes in the management of peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia. To successfully provide his patients with optimal care, Dr. Tadros employs his training in minimally invasive endovascular techniques as well as open surgical techniques.
Apart from his clinical work, Dr. Tadros is also actively involved in research focused on how to optimize outcomes for patients undergoing endovascular aneurysm repair, thoracic endovascular aneurysm repair, and type-B aortic dissection repair. Further, Dr. Tadros is also interested in the identification and modification of risk-factors associated with critical limb ischemia. Dr. Tadros has authored multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters, and editorials on such topics, many of which he has presented at both national and international meetings.
Dr. Tadros received his Bachelor of Science from Saint Xavier University where he graduated summa cum laude. He proceeded to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine, having graduated with the highest honors. Dr. Tadros completed his residency training in Integrated Vascular Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
