About Dr. Tony Das

Dr. Tony Das is a nationally recognized Interventional Cardiologist and Vascular Specialist. A seasoned interventional cardiologist who has performed over 20,000 procedures in his career. Dr. Das is the founder and CEO of Connected Cardiovascular Care, the first cardiology practice in the US dedicated to offering personalized remote physiologic monitoring for cardiac and vascular patients. Dr. Das is a life-long strategy expert in healthcare. A 25-year career experienced with a long history of development in Biotech, Life Sciences, Medical Device startups and Digital Health.

Currently, Dr. Das advises the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas (Baylor Scott and White Health Heart Hospital, Plano) as the Chief of Cardiovascular Strategic Planning and Development, Cardiac Innovation and Digital health. He is a medical advisor to two Med Tech venture funds, a large Family office and private equity groups in the Healthcare Medical Device and Digital Health space with combined management of over $500M. Dr. Das has been a leader in the outpatient ASC space since 2012 while practicing full-time cardiology and vascular interventions since 1996. Dr. Das has led Business Development and Business Strategy for VIVA (Not for Profit) Medical and has raised over $150M in investment for healthcare ventures. He has been listed for over 20 years as Best Cardiologists in Dallas by D. Magazine, Best Cardiologists in Texas by Texas Monthly magazine and Best Cardiologists in the US by Castle Connoly and Who's Who in Medicine and is proud to be the personal cardiologist of President George W. Bush. Dr. Das is an active member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) committee for Innovation in the Wearables and Devices Section. Additionally, Dr. Das is a founding member of the VIVA (Vascular Interventional Advances) meeting and has educated hundreds of cardiologists and surgeons in complex vascular disease procedures since 1997.

Dr. Das graduated from Baylor Medical School, did his medical residency at Harvard Massachusetts General Hospital and Fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute. Dr. Das completed the Stanford Business School: LEAD Corporate Innovation Program 2020 and the MIT Blockchain program in 2022.
