About Jill Sommerset, RVT, FSVU
Jill is the technical director at Advanced Vascular Centers in Portland, Oregon. With over 20 years experience, she has a deep interest and passion for CLTI (Chronic Limb Threatening Ischemia). She works side by side with Dr. Mary Costantino in the cath lab utilizing intraoperative ultrasound in complex patients. She lead the Multidisciplinary Limb Saving Program at PeaceHealth for 5 years helping to decrease the rate of unnecessary amputations. Jill is the developer of Pedal Duplex and Pedal Acceleration Time (PAT). She teaches and collaborates around the world leading with passion and dedication. The hope is to create change and innovation for complex CLTI patients. She is an avid researcher and many publications. On the side, Jill is the owner and designer of Flow Socks (https://www.flow-socks.com ), an arterial sock created to build a sense of unity among vascular specialists. Currently, Jill is the Chair of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU) Annual Conference and serves on the board of directors for SVU. In her free time you can find her downhill mountain biking, wing foiling, or stand up paddling in the Hood River, Oregon.
